You’d be forgiven for thinking that iPhone was the only way to make any money in game after the first few days of GDC. Not so.

“PixelJunk Eden made its return on investment within 24 hours,” Sony’s Susan Panico told the GamesBeat crowd today as an illustration of what can go very right about PSN releases.

Of course, Eden was a bit of an easy sell considering the franchise, but still.

Eden Encore releases in April. Thanks, Joystiq.

Didn’t really rate Eden. But I did like Monsters.

I love Eden, I just wish it wasn’t so hard.

Is “Encore” paid DLC or an update?

It’s got to be paid, I’m guessing.

What do you actually do in it? It’s strategy, right?

Yeah, it’s a Tower Defense game only instead of clicking towers freely, you have a character you have to move around the game area to reach the desired tower/resources/upgrades.

T’is very good and can be played co-op
