THQ announces Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor

THQ has announced that Relic’s WWII strategy series, Company of Heroes, will continue with a new “chapter”, Tales of Valor.

This new title boasts three new single-player campaigns and brand new multiplayer modes to boot. It’s a standalone product, apparently.

“Company of Heroes is one of the most critically acclaimed RTS series of all time,” said THQ vice president Peter Matiss.

“With Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Relic Entertainment is delivering an all-new, standalone chapter in the franchise and continues to push the boundaries of innovation and quality in the genre.”

No release date was given. Good news though: maybe some was needed from THQ tonight.

Thanks, Boomtown.

Very good news indeed, CoH is pretty much the only series based in WWII I can stand now after it’s been overused so much, just as well it’s so bloody great!

I’ve still never played it. I’m having a bit of a strategy “thing” at the moment, so I should give this a crack.

Me and strategy don’t mix. It’s the only genre I still well clear of.
