Capcom’s posted a note saying it is, in fact, to create a patch for the ongoing SFII HD Remix Beta, despite previously saying it wasn’t going to do anything of the sort.
“Just wanted to drop everyone a line that we’re working on a patch and it will have several fixes for the open beta,” said a staffer. “I’ll be dropping details shortly, but the overall experience in the beta will be vastly improved.”
No timing for the fix has been given.
