GoG’s announced it’s to include the original version of Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars as a bonus with the Director’s Cut.

Anyone who’s already bought the Director’s Cut will get it for free.

“Broken Sword is one of the best adventure games of all time,” said GoG’s marketing director, Guillaume Rambourg.

“After releasing the Director’s Cut, many of our old-school gamers expressed an interest in bringing back the original Broken Sword, so with Charles Cecil’s approval, we have dusted off the original and added it to the Director’s Cut at no cost to our users. It just shows that no matter how much of a makeover you give a product, the classics will never go out of style!”

The Director’s Cut is available to buy here for $5.99. Happy Friday, innit.
