Natural Selection 2′s engine measured against Valve’s Source, Goldsource

Former modders collective turned dev studio Unknown Worlds seems to be riding out from hobbyist to independent developer with their follow-up title Natural Selection 2, but the transition from Valve’s Half-Life engine to their own internally developed Spark is a little bumpier.
To ensure the new engine is competitive, founder Charlie Cleveland told Hooked Gamers that the team “are constantly loading Natural Selection 1, Team Fortress 2 and other games to compare Natural Selection 2 side-by-side with them.”

Legendary footage looking the right side of awesome
Atari’s demonic shooter’s looking pretty fucking cool, truth be told, in an old school “KILL THE MASSIVE DEMON” kind of way. See for yourself. It’s out this summer for PC, 360 and PS3.

Legendary: The Box confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3
Atari’s just confirmed that Spark-developed Legendary: The Box will be hitting PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC this summer.
The game, which all sounds a bit “Hellraiser” to us, sees art thief Charles Deckard opening “Pandora’s Box” and unleashing loads of nasties, including, thank God, werewolves. A full-powered war between man and beast things develops, secret societies get involved and you, probably, save the day.
