PixelJunk Shooter 2 and Limbo were the two biggest selling PSN hits of this year, coming out on top of their respective downloadable game lists. PJ Shooter 2 was first in the list of downloadable titles published by Sony, followed by Fat Princess and Flower. The Playdead horror platform appeared in the list for games not published first-party on top, followed by Behemoth’s Castle Crashers and Test Yourself Psychology from Creat Studios.

Q-Games head Dylan Cuthbert has reminded everyone that PixelJunk Shooter 2, complete with multiplayer options, is to release this week in all territories. The PSN arcade game has a new Hungry Suit, a Light Suit, a new R3 spin attack and more. There are shots on the EU and US PS Blogs. Word to the wise: apparently it’s much harder than the first one.

Back in the days of headache-inducing Atari graphics, we didn’t have any of this cinematic story telling malarkey: we had to use our imaginations.
