Persona 4 dated for US

December 9, 2008.

According to Destructoid – straight from the Shin Mega Ten panel at Anime Expo – that’s the day you’ll be kicking up dust all the way to your local game store for Persona 4. Or, you know, driving there, if that’s your preference.

Also, as if you needed any more motivation to snag the game, Persona 4’s soundtrack CD will be riding passenger with its namesake title – free of charge, no less – which is all kinds of awesome.

No word, however, on a release outside of Japan or the US.

So, we know where we’ll be on December 9. Do you?

Giant Persona 4 trailer released

persona.jpg

A 17-minute trailer of upcoming RPG Persona 4 has been taken from a DVD in Japan and posted online. It’s the first video of the Atlus title, apparently, and looks nice and surreal.

According to this, “Once the three characters melt into their TVs on a rainy night they meet a bear who appears to be the same character giving Fuuka-like tips during battle.”

Radical. No idea if this is going to make Europe. Check out the video after the link.
