Battlefield 4 hits PS4 lands on PS4 Friday along with the console’s release, and today, Sony has posted a video featuring DICE’s Lars Gustavsson discussing how PS4 “brings Battlefield into the next-generation of gaming hardware.” Check it out below. Battlefield 4 is actually available in stores today for PS4 alongside both Maddedn 25 and FIFA 14.

Battlefield 2142 seems to have a lot of love out there, so it’s natural gamers want a sequel. However, DICE’s Lars Gustavsson has stressed that while the reality attached to modern day settings may prove limiting, it only serves to push the studio’s creative mind-set further. So that’s a ‘no’ to Battlefield 2143 just now, basically.
