If you are still waiting on the Steam Summer Sale, Reddit has posted an unconfirmed list of what may or may not be coming. Stardock expects “decoupled gaming” will become more prominent over next five years

Valve titles appear on Impulse
RPS has noted that Valve has made its games available on GameStop download service Impulse. The marketplace, which was owned by Stardock up until last year when it was bought by GameStop, now has five titles from the company: Portal 2, The Half-Life Complete Collection, Left 4 Dead 1 + 2 and The Orange Box, all of which end up requiring Steam activation anyways. Still, your options on where to buy Valve games has become more broader now.

Impulse has D&D Anthology: The Master Collection on sale for $10
Impulse is holding a really, really nice sale for those of you interested in PC games based on the D&D Universe or who are just RPG fans. Called the Dungeons & Dragons Anthology: The Master Collection, the pack contains Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 plus expansions, Icewind Dale 1 & 2 plus expansions, Planescape: Torment, and The Temple of Elemental Evil all for $10. If you purchase the pack, you may wish to head on over to Circle of Eight to get the patches for TOEE, as the modding group has fixed all the lovely bugs which kept the game from being as successful as it should have been. Plus, if you are feeling especially nostalgic, you also purchase the D&D Anthology: Neverwinter Nights Complete set for $14.99, which includes Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 plus three expansion packs for each one. Gamestop officially adds Impulse to online store
Gamestop has added Impulse to its website, after acquiring the service back in March. In order to start using it, you just need to download the client. Gamedtop gift cards, gift certificates or credit earned through the Edge Card are not being accepted as of yet. The firm has said it expects these payment options to be “available in the future.” The firm has said in the past it expects to generate $1.5 billion in digital revenue by 2014.
