BioShock and BioShock 2 just $4 from Gamefly
If you haven’t yet experienced the original BioShock and its solid if not quite as magical sequel, now is the time. Gamefly is offering both games on PC for $5, and if you use this Dealzon coupon code, you’ll pay just $4. If that doesn’t fill the hole left in your life by the ending of BioShock Infinite I am unsure what will. Probably nothing. There is only sorrow, forever.

Gamefly has laid-off 15% of its staff
Gamefly, the video game rental service, has laid-off 15% of its staff in order to “better align” the company to the “existing console and digital games markets.” The firm told GI International the service will be able to continue functioning the same with the smaller team. There won’t be any “significant” changes made to its business or service model, as the company “remains profitable with a strong balance sheet.” Get more through the link.

GameFly restructuring result in lay-offs
Game rental service and digital distributor GameFly issued a round of lay-offs earlier today. The company explained the cuts as a result of restructuring, but did not give details. Joystiq cites one anonymous source for word that cuts were around one third of total staff, while another put the figure at 35.

Ravaged’s second DLC pack is now available
Ravaged, the FPS multiplayer online game from 2 Dawn Games, has a new DLC pack available for no charge. It adds a new arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and game modes along with the new chainsaw and flamethrower. It also comes with a moveable dump truck, and two new game modes: Team Deathmatch and Hijack. XP gains have also been improved, and ammo has been reduced to encourage players to “scavenge for weapons and ammo to stay alive.” Ravaged can be picked up on Steam for $9.99, and players can also grab the first Apocalypse DLC Pack for free as well. Journey Compilation to release in August
A listing called the Journey Compilation has popped up on Gamefly, and set for releases on August 28. Spotted by Superannuation, thunder the PS3 game’s description it states “coming soon,” but it’s assumed to be a compilation of thatgamecompany titles Flow, Flower and Journey. Sony has yet to comment, but thatgamecompany has confirmed it’s existence, (thanks, Get_crazy) but said it was unable to provide further details at this point.

GameFly adds 2K titles to Unlimited PC Play catalog
GameFly has expanded its partnership with 2K Games to deliver titles such as BioShock, Sid Meier’s Civilization IV and X-Com: Enforcer to the rental service’s Unlimited PC Play catalog. The games are available for immediate download. “We’re excited that 2K Games has partnered with GameFly, giving our members access to games in their top franchises to play for free in the Unlimited PC Play,” said Sean Spector, GameFly co-founder and SVP of business development and content. “We’re working hard to continue adding major publishers and chart-topping games to our library.” BioShock Infinite, Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings and XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be available for rental as well upon each title’s respective release.
