PS Vita launch title Hot Shots Golf – or Everybody’s Golf if you’re so inclined – is receiving a PS3 port in Japan, along with Move support, and it just got a release date too.

The Vita title known variously as Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, Everybody’s Golf 6 and Minna no Golf 6 is making the jump from Vita to PlayStation 3 – but it’s taking some of the portable’s neatest features with it. Andriasang reports the new version will support cross play with the Vita, meaning you’ll find a world of opponents awaiting you on the green, and all Vita DLC will be bundled in at no extra cost. It’ll support PS Move, too. Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational arrives in Japan in November; expect it to head west eventually.

Sony’s to release a new update for Everybody’s Golf Vita next week that will see the inclusion of new features for the game. Included are Versus Rooms, where friends can meet up and have matches with one another. Also coming with the update are a grade system and the addition of the tour system to the daily national tournament mode.

Sony’s lifted the embargo on reviews for the first-party launch line-up for PlayStation Vita following the announcement of UK download prices earlier. Speaking to the PlayStation Blog, Sony has revealed the two most popular games during the PlayStation Vita Japanese launch. The two chart-topping games were Everybody’s Golf and Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

Sony has not yet announced how many units those two games sold. However, Eurogamer notes that the Japanese sales charts are due to be released tomorrow, so we shouldn’t have to wait long for more info.

Sony’s announced its full lineup for Tokyo Game Show in two weeks, confirming that 19 yet to be announced games for Vita will be at the event.
