Dragon Age lead writer David Gaider has replied to a post on the DAII forums, which accuses BioWare of not catering to the “straight male gamer,” but instead providing “exotic” choices catering more to – in his opinion – homosexuals and females instead of focusing “on making sure male gamers were happy.”

The reviews have gone live for Dragon Age II following the release of the launch trailer earlier today. Scores so far seem to be around the eights and nines for the BioWare RPG. Find out the scores below the break. Dragon Age II releases today in the US and Friday in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.

Dragon Age II trailer is go for launch
EA’s released the launch trailer for Dragon Age II as the BioWare RPG releases in the US today. You can watch it below, via GT. The publisher’s also confirmed the release of the The Exiled Prince, the first DLC for the game, available from PSN, Xbox Live and PC.
May want to keep an eye out later this evening: embargo for reviews lifts at 5pm GMT. Keep them zesty. Game’s out on Friday in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.
