Activision E3 extravaganza had star-studded line up

Actvision’s E3 show tonight, which can only really be described as a party, was full of famous people. Literally.
There were also about 5,000 attendees at the Staple Center in LA to participate in the festivities.

Activision titles to feature top music artists

Activision has revealed that its upcoming games Call of Duty: Black Ops, DJ Hero 2, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and True Crime: Hong Kong will feature music from hit artists such as: Usher, Eminem, Soundgarden, Pharrell Williams, David Guetta and more.

First bit of DLC for DJ Hero releases today

FreeStyleGames’ Chris Lee has revealed to IGN that the first bit of DLC for DJ Hero will be released today.
Both tracks are set to land on Xbox Live and PSN today, and feature “All of Me” by 50 Cent (featuring Mary J. Blige) mixed with Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga”, and Gorrilaz’ “Dare” mixed with Public Enemy’s “Can’t Truss It”.
The two-pack will run you 480 MS Points ($6.00/£4.08/€5.58) and when released for Wii, 300 WiiPoints ($3).
Come November 24, a three-pack from David Guetta will include remixes of “Sexy Bitch,” “On The Dance Floor,” and “When Love Takes Over”, and will run you 640 MS Points ($8.00/£5.44/€7.44).

David Guetta to serve as official European spokesperson for DJ Hero

Activision has announced that DJ and producer David Guetta will officially serve as a European ambassador and spokesperson for DJ Hero.
Guetta will also be endorsing the game with the creation of three mixes, available as DLC in late-2009, with remixes of “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland, “Sexy Bitch” featuring Akon and “On The Dance Floor” featuring members of the Black Eyed Peas.
“DJ’ing has taken me a lifetime to master, but DJ Hero opens the art up to the masses,” said Guetta in the press release. “Players who have never touched decks will be able to easily get the authentic DJ experience and feel the euphoria of playing to an audience.”
Game’s out for PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 this month.
