One of the more obscure highlights of Tokyo Game Show so far has been the big reveal Diabolical Pitch, formerly known as Codename D. Take Japanese favourite Suda51 and the team at Grasshopper Manufacture, throw in some motion controls, a baseball bat and some scary monsters, and you’re onto a winner.
While we haven’t yet had a chance to try out the upcoming XBLA title, the sneaky folk over at Joystiq smuggled a video camera in and grabbed some more footage of the game in action, plus a shaky-cam version of the first trailer.

Grasshopper’s lifted the veil off Kinect title Codename D, confirming the game’s proper name is Diabolical Pitch. The game sees you as a baseball player while you pitch and bat balls against incoming monsters. Joystiq reports that there’ll also be local two-player co-op, with one playing lifting the other for health support. Unveiled at TGS last year, Diabolical will releas as an XBLA title, according to the site. No date yet.
