Wildstar update details the Nexus region of Crimson Isle
Wildstar screens and information pertaining to the Crimson Isle region along with its allies and enemies, has been released by Carbine Studios. The land of the Deradune looks formidable, indeed. You can have a look at the shots below, and read all about the region through the official website. There’s a whole list of “coming soon” slots on the site pertaining to other regions in the game, but you can refresh your memory on Galeras, Algoroc, and the Northern Wilds while you are perusing things. Wildstar is expected later this year and you can sign up for the beta here.

Wildstar to support player-authored add-ons
Wildstar lead client engineer Jon Wiesman has written a passionate blog for the upcoming MMORPG’s website in which he explains his frustrations with the learning curve of new programming environments. As a result, he vows to make it easy for anyone with a little programming knowledge to develop user interface add-ons. This is very exciting for some pretty nerdy and talented people. Carbine’s debut title was shown off at Gamescom last year but is yet to be dated.

New Wildstar shots go rogue
NCSoft’s gone live with three new shots of Wildstar, showing off the Marauders for the first time. A blog on the race tells how they are “ruthless space-faring pirates that have come to Nexus to plunder the planet for its treasure and other valuable resources.” There’s more on them in the blog, and the screens are below.
