Bohemia has released a patch for DayZ which improves server stability and makes zombie hunts less prone to crashing. Patch 1.62 also contains multiplayer optimization, new video options such as post-process and anti-aliasing, AI improvements, bug fixes, fixes issues with training missions, and adds script for commands for content makers. The changelog is quite extensive and can be found through here and here.

Bohemia Interactive has announced the discontinuation of the Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Play and Contribute Beta program, which will be replaced by a pre-order deal on Monday, July 30.

Those thinking of downloading the the latest patch for DayZ may wish to wait a bit. According to a tweet from the development team, patch 1.7.2 patch is causing equipment loss for some players. Here’s the tweet in full: “Good news and bad news. Bad: 1.7.2 can cause equipment loss and loading problems. Good: client/server performance and lag greately improved.” The team said it hopes to “get 1.7.2 fixed ASAP.” [image]

Rising Star Games has announced a partnership with Bohemia Interactive to bring Carrier Command: Gaea Mission to North American in the fall. It will arrive on PC for $49.99 and Xbox 360 for $59.99. The game was first announced in January and a presentation video for it was posted earlier this week.

Beohemia’s released a long explanatory video of the upcoming Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, showing off a sci-fi game capable of switching seamlessly between RTS and first-person action on a grand scale. It’s currently in beta, and is supposedly hitting Q2. The original released in the 80s. Check it below.

Bohemia Interactive has announced the demo for Take On Helicopters is now available. The taster includes the following for you to try out: one multiplayer scenario, two single-player scenarios, three time trial courses, three training sessions, a 30×30 km section of the Seattle terrain, a limited version of the 2D scenario editor, Free Flight mode, and both light and medium helicopters.
