Average, boring series cranks out another boring average game. What else is new?

such a shame really. i LOVED the first one. the mp was great too, sure, clunky and all but i played postgrab mode 247. still one of my favourite 360 games. i can’t understand why they didn’t just look at what worked so well and then improved on that. franchise had lots of potential…well f&#k it.

The first one was brilliant, the second one misdirected and the third one just a cash in.

Don’t believe it can be worse than The Bureau. And that game got higher score. So I might still check it out.

Capcom should have just localized Ex Troopers and put it on the eShop/PS Store instead instead of crapping out yet another bland, forgettable title they think the west likes.

    Eurogamer :
“Lost Planet 3 is a tremendously boring game masquerading as a slightly interesting one.”
wow … i’ve lost interest in the whole game just by reading this first line :D
well … i guess it’s not new to capcom , Dark Void comes to mind ..

The thing that bothers me is that capcom was one of my favourite Video games developer/publisher out there , what the hell happened to them ? :/

They refuse to make Mega Man games out of spite, and they get what they deserve!

This is a very very good game. The reason for the poor reviews is likely because expectations are for the game to be like the first 2. This one is more story driven, with a little less action and a little more engaging story. A masterpiece for those who want more than Serious Sam action.

I never understood the appeal of the series. The first one was passable, the second one a complete clusterfuck. I’m glad to see that they try something completely different. Read a lot of positive things about the characters, which always sounds rather strange considering it comes from CAPCOM.

It can’t be worse than The Bureau. Might check it out this weekend.
