Animal Crossing: New Leaf has entered at second in the UK charts this week, and now that the E3 dust has settled we’re ready to round up the review scores in one handy place.

The game set a North American record last week for most launch-day sales on the 3DS eShop. Check out our coverage of the milestone here.

Got a score we’ve missed? Chuck it below and we’ll add it when we get a spare second.

    This is such a weird game. There are no goals, not much to do, yet it still sucks you in somehow!

    @4 there is no goals and not much to do?… that is an understatement. in this game there is actually to much to do. it will keep you playing day and night. it looks like you dont know these type of games very well. so you better read up and checkout game play vids.

    There are now quite a few games I’d buy a 3DS for.

    Except I fucking hate the current generation 3D tech – hurts my eyes and my head.

    If only they released a non-3D version where I’m not paying extra £50 for the privilege of a feature that would only ever be turned off..

    @8 – You can pretty much pick a 3DS up for like £100 second hand now. I got a second hand one that had only been played once with 3 games for £150. As far a I am aware, no one uses the 3D that much. 3D is the last thing I bought a 3DS for, I mostly wanted it for the games that were coming out.

    Edit – I haven’t checked, but the prices I listed are like 7 months old, you can probably pick a new up for just slightly more if you look in the right places.

    @5, 6 – Yeah, I probably wasn’t clear in my comment.

    When I said there’s not much to do I meant as far as completing levels or doing missions etc. I know there’s lots to do in the game but I just meant it’s a weird one as you can literally do nothing if you want as the game hardly presses you to do anything at all.

    @5 – I know AC quite well after playing the GC and DS games for many months…

    I’m finding the game far easier than the previous entries, I’ve paid the first loan and caught like 5 sharks in one night, any player of AC knows how big a deal that is!
