Reviews have started popping up for EA Black Box’s Need for Speed: The Run, and we’ve rounded-up those we can find below along with the game’s launch trailer.

In the game, you play as Jack. He’s a wanted man who must drive 3,000 miles of “unforgiving asphalt,” from San Francisco to New York armed with only guts and instinct to get him through alive.

Here’s how different folks feel about Jack’s speedy tour across the US:

NFS: The Run is available on 3DS, PC, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 today in the US and is out this Friday, November 18, in the UK.

As usual, if you can find more, put a link in the comments.

    PC – 89%

Despite a somewhat short campaign Need for Speed: The Run is a great racing-game with beautiful settings, an epic soundtrack and a whole lot of high-speed action.

    PS3 – 87%

The setting is great, the story makes sense and the feeling is pretty much arcade just like the old days. The Run is more like an interactive movie than a plain stupid racer, and it deserves props for that achievement.

It looked poor when it was announced, it played badly on the demo … Give NFS back to Criterion, I.e: a developer that knows all about awesome racing games.

Nah screw it, get em on a new Burnout!!!
