Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey. You can find the previous episodes here.

In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), Bob and Nadia join me to celebrate Dragon Quest's 30th Anniversary while Mike discusses the new DLC for Witcher 3 and Far Harbor.

If you've been following me on social media, you'll know that I'm kind of... uh... obsessed with Fallout 4 again. My impetus for getting back into the Commonwealth was the new Far Harbor DLC, which came out last week. I'm almost done with it; but in keeping with every Bethesday RPG ever, I'm getting constantly sidetracked. I currently have a giant list of things to do, including finishing my castle, building a death robot, and nuking a bunch of scary cultists. Busy busy! Mike, meanwhile, is in the middle of Blood and Wine, which he is reviewing over here. He seems to like it!

For those of you wanting to skip directly of the Dragon Quest conversation, the second segment begins around the 28 minute mark. Bob, Nadia, and I all get together to share our favorite things from Dragon Quest, including our favorite monsters, our favorite moments, and of course, our favorite games. If you're looking for a more complete retrospective, I recommend checking out the Retronauts podcast from last year.
