Actor Willem Dafoe will not be lending his voice to Quantic Dreams’ Beyond: Two Souls as previously rumored. When asked about the rumor by Joystiq at Comic-Con today, David Cage shook his head and said: “Nice try.” During a panel on the title at the event, it was revealed actor Kadeem Hardison would be playing the paranormal investigator who raised Ellen Page’s character, Jodie Holmes. Actor Eric Winter is also involved in the title, but his character has not been disclosed.

A source close to Quantic Dream has told BroGamer that Ellen Page will be starring with Williem Dafoe in the developer’s Beyond: Two Souls. The source wouldn’t go into detail on what role he plays, but said to expect to hear more soon. Dafoe previously reprised his role as The Green Goblin/Norman Osborn in the Spider-Man game, and also lent his voice to James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing which was released on PS2, Xbox and Gamecube.
