Toki Tori 2 hitting Wii U in April

Toki Tori 2 will be released on Wii U on April 4, Two Tribes has announced. The firm said the title is still in “the hands of Nintendo’s certification team,” and while normally a release date would be provided once it passed certification, the team said it is “confident it’ll pass in time.” Check out the new trailer for the game below.

Toki Tori releases on 3DS Virtual Console this week in the US

Toki Tori will be released via 3DS Virtual Console this week in the US, according to a tweet from developer Two Tribes. The Game Boy Color title was originally released in 2001, and is being enjoyed on 3DS in Europe as we speak. available on the European 3DS Virtual Console. Toki Tori WiiWare announced

Two Tribes has announced the GBC classic Toki Tori will be coming to WiiWare, the Wii download service that already launched in Japan and will hit the US on May 12.

“Toki Tori for Nintendo Wii marks the entry of Two Tribes into the world of console games. Based on the critically acclaimed Game Boy Color game, this update improves the original on every front,” the press release states.

“Sporting a new look, updated content and a completely overhauled Wii Remote control scheme, the game offers players of all ages a classic gaming experience while making the most out of Nintendo’s Wii console.”
