The Settlers Online will be releases at retail next month, Ubisoft has announced. The strategy game from Blue Byte studio will come in a Standard Edition loaded with “high value content” for £19.99. Besides the game, players will also get an extra resource pack which includes 400 stones, 400 planks, 100 tools and 20 settlers, along with three tactical maps, a troop buff, 4000 gems and “The Nords 1” adventure. These items can be downloaded with a code included in the retail box. The Settlers Online will hit retail on PC December 7 in the UK.

Ubisoft has announced Blue Byte’s The Settlers Online: Castle Empire has left the beta phase and has launched. The free-to-play online strategy game can be played right in your browser. To celebrate the launch, an in-game event is going on as we speak. Start playing through here.

Ubisoft has announced a retail starter pack for The Settlers Online will be available at retail on March 29. The starter pack for the free-to-play, browser-based title set in the Settlers Universe will include 2500 gems of in-game currency, buildings with infinite resources, and an exclusive general to lead your armies. For Easter, an all-new in-game event starts the same day, which will bring with it new “quests, adventures, special buildings, a new general and a Raving Rabbid statue.” During the event, players will need to search for Easter Eggs, the event currency, which will allow them to purchase in-game items. In the UK, the Starter Pack will run you £11.99 exclusively from the Ubishop.

Ubisoft has announced its browser-based free-to-play strategy, The Settlers Online, has garnered over 1.5 million players since its initial release in Germany, Russia and the US. The firm also announced the European open beta starts today for the Blue Byte-developed title. Known as Castle Empire, you can sign up to play through here. Check out shots from the game below.
