Lost Planet 3 has been delayed into August
Lost Planet 3 has been delayed into August for “business reasons,” Capcom has announced. Originally slated for June 25 in North America and in Europe on June 28, it will now release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on August 27 in North America and August 30 in Europe.

Lost Planet 3 release date set for Japan
Capcom Japan has set a June 27 release date for Lost Planet 3, according to this week’s Famitsu via Gematsu. The prequel shooter is headed to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; all we’ve officially heard regarding western release is sometime this year, although we had expected it in the first quarter.

Spark Unlimited pegged for Onimusha 4 according to PSM3 rumor
Spark Unlimited is working on an “adventure series reboot,” for Capcom according the latest rumor in PSM3. That’s not all though: the game is supposedly Onimusha 4. No word on how they know this. Last year, Yoshinori Ono said it was time to resurrect the Onimusha series, but he would like to see it “progress beyond the standard single-player adventure,” he said. The last Onimusha console title was released in 2006. Thanks, CVG.

Ninja Gaiden Z revealed, is Inafune’s ‘Yaiba’, Spark Unlimited developing
Team Ninja has revealed Ninja Gaiden Z, a collaboration between Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited and Keiji Inafune. It’s a cel-shaded Ninja Gaiden with zombies basically, and is the full name of Inafune’s ‘Yaiba’ project. The studio also unveiled a new Ninja Gaiden smartphone game, free Wii U DLC and more. Lost Planet 3: Watch 15 minutes of gamescom gameplay footage here
Lost Planet 3 received a 15 minute gameplay demonstration behind close doors at gamescom, but now Capcom has given up the footage and posted it online. It shows protagonist Jim bounding across the snowy plains in his mech, tussling with giant Akrid and following the trail of a saboteur. Watch it here.

Lost Planet 3 developer working on mysterious reboot – report
Lost Planet 3 developer Spark Unlimited is working on something pretty mysterious, according to Superannuation’s regular column on Kotaku. A number of clues suggest the team has “a bold new take on 3rd Person Action/Horror based on an established console franchise” in the works. The Unreal Engine-based “action/slasher” will have a multiplayer component. Capcom has denied it has anything to do with it – so not Onimusha, then, but I put a picture on anyway because I’m kind of mean like that. Thoughts? Theories?

New batch of Lost Planet 3 screenshots surface
