For those who are too afraid to go it alone in Slender Man, a work-in-progress version using the Source Engine is in the works which will allow you to play it with equally masochistic friends.Here’s the blurb: “Players must work together to collect a certain amount of creepy dolls all while trying to avoid the abomination that is the Slenderman. If you have nothing better to do than gibber in terror today, why not try out the free beta of Slender? Reports suggest it’s crap-your-pants terrifying, especially in the dark. There’s a trailer through the break, but in short, it’s a game all about the classic creepypasta Slender Man, which inspired Minecraft’s Herobrine and Endermen among millions of other horrifying concepts. You can try it on Mac or PC if you have a clean pair of underoos handy.
