Nintendo didn’t really have much in the way of surprises at E3, and that’s because, as Satoru Iwata says, they wanted to focus on the “video game fans that are eager for information on so-called traditional games” at the show. But they have more in store for this year than just the stuff they discussed at June’s Nintendo Direct, including “new types of games.”

Talking to videogaming247 at the Eurogamer Expo earlier today, a Lionhead representative told us that the company’s secret project will be announced “early next year”.
Peter Molyneux has already come out and said that this next project “will be on the front cover of Nature”, and now it seems that we won’t have too long to wait to find out if he’s right.
Look out for more Eurogamer Expo coverage throughout the day.

Capcom US is inviting a lucky reader to play a “secret game” at their San Mateo HQ on Thursday, April 10 from 2pm – 4pm. For the Europeans among us, San Mateo is in California, so unless you can get there by tomorrow, we doubt this will apply.
All you need to do to be considered is to “send your name, age, phone number, and your preferred gaming platform (PS3, PC, 360, Wii, etc.) to email@example.com. You must be over 18 years old with valid ID to participate!”
If you’re in the area, drop them a line.
