Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is making the jump to Vita in next week’s PlayStation Store update. The portable incarnation has a couple of improvements over the PS3 version – tilting screens, two difficulty settings, ad hoc and online multiplayer, improved graphics and a new end boss. If you already own the PS3 release, you’ll get a discount on the Vita version and two extra co-op characters. Trailer and screens through the break. Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken will release for Vita during Q1 2013, according to Ratloop Asia. According to the developers, the team took fan feedback into consideration with the Vita version and added new chapters, puzzles and humor; a unique new Hardboiled difficulty setting; and it contains improved controls and connectivity for the co-operative campaign via ad-hoc or online. The game will make use of Vita’s front touch screen and rear touch panel and can be played at full resolution “like a proper cinematic platform adventure game.” Rocketbirds will also sport two new playable co-op characters: Sniper Guy and Agent-H.
