PS4 ‘Playroom’ tech demo shows PlayStation Eye & DualShock at work
PlayStation Eye’s enhanced camera tech has been shown in a new PS4 tech demo called ‘Playroom’. Sony released the clip as part of its E3 2013 push on the next-gen console, and to show how DualShock 4 and the camera work in sync to make for motion-controlled play. The new edition of the home PlayStation console will come with a new edition of the PlayStation Eye camera that has so far not been widely used by consumers, due at least in part to lack of effort spent integrating its functions into games beyond the Move controller.

Private eye: Eye of Judgment online servers going offline in September

Before Eye of Judgment came along, you had to use your imagination if you wanted tiny tough-as-nails monsters to spring forth from your cards.
Now it looks like you’ll have to imagine a few online servers as well.

Echochrome gets PS Eye, Cloud support

Sony’s to add PlayStation Eye and Cloud saving support to the PS3 version of Echochrome, according to Siliconera.
The game now allows players to use PS Eye to film themselves in-game. Replays with the picture-in-picture window can be saved to your hard drive or uploaded directly to YouTube.
The update’s happening on Thursday in Japan. No word on a western version yet.
