Microsoft has cut prices on some of its budget Classics games.
Five pounds off, actually.
So far, this means that for £14.99 you can get: Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Naruto: Rise of a Ninja.
This was tacked on to the announcement of Grand Theft Auto IV, Midnight Club: Los Angeles and BioShock to being added to the Classics range – just in case you missed it.

Rockstar announced last night that the 360 version of its Midnight Club South Central DLC has been delayed.

The PSN version went up yesterday as planned.

Those of you looking forward to bouncing your Impala through Compton thanks to Midnight Club’s South Central DLC would do well to watch the trailer after the break.
It’s out on March 12, and looks about as LA and LA can look without being in LA. For the streets, etc.

The booster increases the game’s map size by a third, adds four more neighborhoods and, best of all, is completely free.
Well, a bit of it is, anyway. There’s a premium pack full of news cars and such for 800 MS Points as well.
Full details through the link.

Rockstar’s launched a world championship for Midnight Club: Los Angeles, to be held through the firm’s Social Club.
Monthly tournaments will feature prizes such as games gift certificates, a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and a year’s worth of free pizza from Pizza Hut. That last one makes us feel a little nauseous, to be honest.
Blah. Press release after the break.

AceyBongos, Britain’s answer to Major Nelson, has warned that if you downloaded the Midnight Club DLC that accidentally went live on Xbox Marketplace yesterday and was shortly pulled, then you should delete it as it’s potentially game-breaking.
Acey says that “it was being tested when it was mistakenly put live and therefore it may not work properly, the Achievements won’t register and could cause you problems with your Midnight Club: LA game saves.”
So there you go.
