Remote Play is now available for the God of War Collection as well as the ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus Collection. Both also now allow the R2 and L2 buttons to be mapped to the rear touch pad. Amazon.de’s listed something called the God of War: Master Collection on PS3. It’s apparently due on September 16, according to the listing, and will feature all of the God of War games to date: the first God of War Collection featuring GoW1 and 2, God of War III and the upcoming God of War Collection Vol. 2, featuring remasters of PSP games Chains of Olympus and Ghosts of Sparta. Good Lord, what a massive day in game releases. Those with fat wallets will be having a field day, swimming around on the floor with all their lovely games.

The rest with anorexic wallets will just have to pick one and wait on Santa to bring more – or get some from a very giving stranger driving a van. He may look a bit mad with that hair and strange gleam in his eye, but the clown mask beside him on the passenger’s seat with fishing line and surgical gloves says “good times ahead” and you know it.

There’s a video after the break of God of War II QA lead Stephen Peterson showing you how to get the “15 Min Fight Scene” Trophy in God of War Collection. There’s a 500-hit combo in there.

Stephen’s played through God of War II “probably about 100 times”. He shows which magic to use, when to use it, and how to get the best from your hammer. As if you need telling that.

You’ll also see a “flaming vortex attack” that does “massive damage” to “everyone”.

Some shots of the original God of War and God of War II were compared side-by-side to the God of War Collection for PS3.

Which do you think will look better?  Well, everyone’s eyes are different and we suppose it is a matter of preference too, probably.

Anyway, there are some over on IGN, but Bitmob has the mother load through here and here.

We don’t know if it’s the same on each site or not, there are so many that our eyes start to get fuzzy, and then none of them look any good.

It’s out this year in the US with a God of War III demo. No release in EU though until next year at least.

Sony has released the first trailer for the God of War Collection on PS3.

Game’s out this fall, with a God of War 3 PSN demo voucher, which according to Eurogamer, will not be made available in the UK until after the first of the year.

UPDATE: PS3center has word from Sony’s Jeff Rubenstein that the release date is still fall 2009. We’re still waiting on word from Sony ourselves.

If a contradicting listing on GameStop is to be believed, the God of War Collection has been moved to March 6, 2010 instead of it’s expected November 17 release.

Hopefully, it is just a mistake on GameStop’s part, because on the main page it says March, but when you click the title it takes you to a page that still says November.

Before unleashing the blades of chaos and going Kratos on our neighbors, we will contact Sony for confirmation of this before we go to prison for naught.
