Nintendo: DSi July date is “rumour and speculation”

Rather obviously, Nintendo’s branded talk of DSi launching in July this year as “rumour and speculation” in an email to VG247.
GamePlayer kicked things off this morning by posting the date, apparently taken from an anonymous Australian retailer.
If the machine were to ship in July in Australia, it would be reasonable to assume Europe wouldn’t be a million miles away in terms of date.
You’ll just have to wait for the final info, though. Can’t think when this is likely to be announced.

Rumour: DSi out in Australia in July

GamePlayer’s posted a rumour that DSi’s launching in Australia in July, a tidbit garnered from a retailer.
If true, this would likely put the console in a similar time-frame for Europe.
Nintendo’s yet to confirm a date for the machine’s release outside Japan, saying only that it’s going to come this year.
We contacted Nintendo for the traditional “rumour and speculation” comment.

IGN gives Pure 8.6/10
IGN’s posted its review of Disney ATV racer Pure, giving it a substantial 8.6/10. Snip:
Pure delivers an outrageous, arcadey off-road racing experience with style and slickness. The controls are intuitive, the tracks are pure eye candy and the tricks are so crazy and over-the-top that you’ll find yourself gasping with glee when you land your first Lazy Girl. Although it’s a blast to play, it’s not the deepest game out there, and we found ourselves wishing for just a few more modes, tracks and options to round out the experience. But overall, Pure is just pure fun, and that’s what it’s all about.
The only other online review at the moment is a 9/10 from GamePlayer.
