More to come from Wii well, says Nintendo
Joystiq got a quote from Nintendo corporate communications director, Charlie Scibetta, saying that there are plenty more Wii games on the horizon and that the “well is nowhere near dry in terms of what this console can do.”
“As long as publishers and our own first-party teams are able to get good use out of the technology that’s there to make gameplay experiences people will like, it’s going to be a legitimate console,” he said.
“The well is nowhere near dry in terms of what this console can do.”
As far as availability is concerned “we’re just trying to get as many out there as quick as we can,” is all he could offer by way of consolation from all those mothers who can’t get Wiis for their kids.
