Black Bean Games has confirmed WRC 2, the official videogame of the 2011 FIA World Rally Championship, is set for release in October 2011.

Ubisoft to publish Ice and Fire RTS, WRC 2011 coming in October
Ubisoft has sent over another update to its release schedule for the year, and it finds the firm publishing Cyanide’s Song of Ice and Fire RTS, as well as providing a release window for World Rally Championship 2011. There’s also a date for Might and Magic Heroes IV in there, as well as Pro Cycling Manager: Tour de France 2011.

Ubisoft gains publishing rights to WRC, SBK
Ubisoft is to publish Italian publisher Black Bean’s games in the UK, according to an MCV report. The move means that titles from Black Bean such as SBK and the World Championship Rally games as well as Let’s Dance with Mel B and more will be made available by Ubi in Great Britain. The first game under the new deal will be SBK 2011 on May 13. Black Bean’s games have been published by Tradewest in the UK for the past year.

Superstars V8 Racing demo arrives for PC

Black Bean has released a demo for Superstars V8 Racing that allows you to race at the Portimao track in Portugal.
The official car simulation of the Italian championship, developed by Milestone, has vehicles involved in the championship like Audi, BMW, Jaguar, and others.
It’s out for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 later in the month.

SBK ’09 Superbike World Championship demo now on Xbox Live

A demo for SBK 09 Superbike World Championship is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace.
The game includes all bike racing tracks along with the official teams and riders, plus “visible damage on fairings and rider leathers.”
Game’s out in May 29 for PC, PS2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360.
