Nintendo’s just confirmed that Wii will get a price cut in the US from May 15 to $149.99.

Animal Crossing Wii to support USB keyboard
According to this Kombo story, Nintendo’s confirmed that Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City – the more sensibly named Animal Crossing: City Folk in the US – will support a USB keyboard.
There’s going to be lots of typing involved in Tom Nook’s new, plat du jour, clearly. There is literally nothing else we can say about this. So we won’t.

New Animal Crossing Wii shots scanned from Famitsu
Famitsu’s published tons of new Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City screens in its latest issue, as scanned by Gamekyo.
There’s a ruck of stuff through there, including a first look at the game’s map.
The latest in the Animal Crossing series has been confirmed for a UK release in December, and will be bundled with the Wii Speak microphone.

Nintendo’s confirmed that the newly renamed Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City will launch this December.
The Wii Speak microphone will be bundled, as previously announced.

Animal Crossing City Folk renamed for Oz release
According to this Vooks story, Animal Crossing City Folk is to be renamed Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City for release in Australia.
The news comes from the OFLC rating for the game.
It’ll probably be changed in the rest of the world next. Look, Australian censors. We know you like things just so, but stop making things worse for the rest of us?
