Skulls of the Shogun features cross-platform play between 360, Windows 8
17-Bit has announced Skulls of the Shogun will feature cross-platform between Xbox 360, Windows 8 tablets and Windows 8 PCs. This will allow you to start on playing on one of the formats and finish up on the other. This will also allow you to play with friends on any of the aforementioned platforms in four-player cooperative play. You will also be notified when it’s your turn and when you have been invited to a match, the later of which you can have 10 of at one time. The developer is looking to increase the number of matches that can be active at any given time as well. The only issue with being able to cross-play on your multiple devices is that you will have to purchase the game more than once. Skulls of the Shogun is slated for release this fall.
