Very nice. I will definitely get the game, i loved Case Zero. I just don’t have the money yet for it. But as soon as i have money i will. 40 euros for this game is a steal.

Too much coming out to get this at full price..Castlevania and Enslaved the very next week. I don’t know about the rest of you but the Enslaved Demo, which I discounted before I played, impressed me. The Production values are much higher then I thought they would be.

When that site gives Mafia II a 4 (or 5,whatever) that says alot about them in my opinion. No the game is far from perfect and lots of wasted potential too. But are they actually ignoring the great aspects of that game? It sure seems so. a 4 is beyond ridiculous. BUT, that’s not all.

They rated Dead Space the same as Alone in the dark, that’s practically a goddamn sin if you ask me. And plenty of other very quiestenable reviews, how can i take them serious? Can’t.

Well, there is no perfect gaming site. You probably define that by one that reflects your own opinions about the games. I for one believe Mafia deserved nothing more than a 5. Dead Space was boring and Alone in the Dark is a broken game.

But i think the main problem are we. We don’t even seem to care what the review says, the number seems to be important, and that’s a big shame and the #1 reason why i love Kotaku Reviews.

It got even so far that something under 7 is bad in our eyes. This shit has to stop.

Best examples of how this whole shit can get annoying:

GameTrailers.com gave the Story of Halo 3 a 10. A 10. And an 8 for the story of MGS4 because “they didn’t get it”.

It’s complete nonsense. If there is one gaming site you should not waste your time with it’s destructoid. They give numbers just for the numbers, if you catch my drift. Best example: The K&L 2 Review. 1 out of 10. Someone’s been really out of touch with videogames lately or definitely needs the attention.

I read Eurogamer because of the reviews. I don’t care about the numbers. Most of their reviews are very well written and most of the points they criticize are the points i would criticize.

Does DR2 have a timer in it, like case Zero?

MAY actually buy this off of Steam, it’s about $45, which is excellent considering most new games cost over double that with the odd exception, but i don’t really want this as a pc game, i don’t want to be hunched over a desk with a keyboard & mouse with a smallish screen, may save up & get this for my ps3, seems to me as a more lay down & have fun experience rather than focus & competitiveness experience

Well, i guess to each their own of course. When reviews of a certain game comes out, it’s always Eurogamer with a much lower score than the others. It’s almost as if they simply want to be different for the hell of it. I dislike that.

Meh. 1st game was okay. This one looks like a copy and paste with some updated graphics. Might get it on PC when it drops to $25

Most of score is too high, perfect score for this mediocre is 7-7,5. 1st Dead Rising is better, but we have PC port

Lol, Torrents.

This game is actually pretty okay, but the loading times nearly destroy the experience. You just don’t want to go to the next casino because you know there is a loading screen waiting for you.

Playing it. What a pile of shit this game actually is.

Smashing zombies is fun, but everything else is just boring. Not to mention about stupid story missions where you need to run or if you won’t have enough time you need to start all over again. No checkpoints for this game is just ridiculous. Side missions are boring and e.t.c.

Graphics nothing special. Yeah, everything is smooth with Anti Aliasing and other effects, but fuck it really. Not impressive. Design interior is Ok.

Sorry..I hate games with Timers…I understand it places a sense of urgency in the game, but it also takes away so many other things from the game as well…So I will pass, till super cheap and nothing left to buy..maybe March 2011.
