Snatcher was once called Junker, Kojima reveals
Trivia Tuesday: Hideo Kojima’s classic cyberpunk adventure Snatcher was originally supposed to be called “Junker”, but had to be changed due to a conflict with an existing mahjong game. Kojima has been in a reflective mood as Metal Gear hits its 25th anniversary, and tweeted quite a few snipperts about both series, as well as Policenauts, as rounded up by Siliconera.

Kojima: Any potential Snatcher game would need to sell at least 200k in Japan
Hideo Kojima has said that any potential game based on Snatcher would at least need to have the potential to sell 200,000 units in Japan.

Kojima announcement is Snatcher radio play, Grasshopper’s Suda and Yamaoka involved
That announcement from Hideo Kojima that was promised last night? It’s not a game, but it’s not an empty-handed announcement either: the formal announcement of Project S, a radio play of Snatcher, with the involvement of Grasshopper’s Suda 51 and Akira Yamaoka.
