Quick Shots: Silent Hill: Downpour, HD Collection screens get out of TGS
Konami has released screeshots for Silent Hill: Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection out of TGS. Both are slated for release in October, and Japan will see the HD Collection released in 2012.

Quick Shots: Silent Hill: Downpour screens are dreary
Konami has released some new screenshots from Vatra’s Silent Hill: Downpour, and each is unsurprisingly dreary. Not like any of the Silent Hill games are full of unicorn and rainbows or anything, just an observation is all. The game is slated for a winter release on PS3 and Xbox 360, and it is also expected for PS Vita whenever it hits stores.

Vatra has released a few more shots of Silent Hill: Downpour to go along with the ones released yesterday. Still gloomy, and looking as though your doom is near. We can’t wait for the series to scare us once more come October on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Vatra finds Downpour comparisons to Alan Wake “a bit odd”
After Komani released the latest set of screenshots for Silent Hill: Downpour, a lot of folks compared the eerie atmosphere depicted in them to Alan Wake, and the game’s producer Devin Shastky finds this “a bit odd.”
