We might not get Atlus’s first HD game, Catherine, but we can look at Devil Survivor: Overclocked, the 3DS remake of 2009′s tactical RPG spin off of the Shin Megami Tensei series.

Atlus has announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked is on course for 3DS’s launch period. The publisher has confirmed that the title, a remake of the DS title of the same name, will release this summer.

Looks like rumor that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor will release for DS in North America on June 23 is correct.

Amazon leaked the information last week; yesterday Atlus officially confirmed the game, although the release date isn’t set in stone as yet.

Devil Survivor is the first Shin Megami Tensei game for DS, and will be more of a strategy RPG compared to the PS2 titles in the series.
