Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is heading west in October, and to celebrate the fact, Level-5 has released so many screenshots for it, I lost count. Well, actually, there’s 198 of them, but I digress. The fifth game in the gentleman puzzler series is the next to last game our hero Hershel Layton will appear in, but don’t expect the developers to give up the series’ ghost entirely. Professor Layton And The Miracle Mask releases on 3DS on Europe on October 26 and in North America on October 28.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 will launch on 3DS in Europe on August 17, two days prior to its US release on August 19. New Super Mario Bros. 2 features a strong focus on Mario’s iconic gold coins; it seems it is all about the money, after all.

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, a new 3DS title in the popular, long-running puzzle series is also incoming, with the news that it will feature a new free puzzle every day for 350 days after launch. Level-5 have filed a trademark application with the USPTO for Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. This is the first indication we’ve heard of the game coming to the US, although there was never in any doubt it would head to the states eventually. Nintendo announced the game would be heading to Europe previously, and a trademark application for the US always seems to hit close to E3, according to Siliconera. Sounds like time for us to buy a 3DS, then.
