Pro Evolution was Japan’s biggest selling game in November
Pro Evolution 2010 was the biggest selling game in Japan last month, according to Famitsu. The sports title moved over 320,000 units.
Here’s the top three:

Japanese hardware charts – PS3 iz teh winner!
The latest Media-Create charts has shown that our hardware winner for the week is the PlayStation 3, with weekly sales of 48,925 units.
It comes thanks to sales of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, or Winning Eleven 2010 in Japan, which is an exclusive for the PS3 in the country.

UK charts: PES 2010 topples FIFA 10 from No. 1 spot
Sweet praise be jebus! FIFA 10 is finally off the top spot? So, what has taken it’s place? Why, it’s only PES 2010!
The Konami football game came in storming and took the No. 1 spot off FIFA, which only drops to three. Forza Motorsport 3 enters at two.
WWE Smackdown vs Raw ’10 enters at five, Uncharted 2 drops four from two to six, and Borderlands enters at seven.

PES 2010 to recieve free DLC
Konami has confirmed on it’s European blog that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will recieve free DLC.
No date or price, but they do say it’s coming “shortly”.
“We’ll be adding downloadable updates and content shortly – free of charge of course – so watch out for those.”
The game is out tomorrow in the UK for PS3, 360 and GFW.

Looks as though this year’s football race is won in terms of quality. The first PES 2010 scores are up, and from first impressions FIFA 10′s stuck one well and truly in the back of the net.

Pics – Konami sends over player headshots for Pro Evo 10

Konami has sent over new screens for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, revealing the headshots of national team players from England, France, Italy and Spain to show how much work went into the players.
The pics are posted after the break, and they look rather nice.
Game’s out in November for the PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360.

Japan getting GT and Pro Evo 10 PSP bundles come December

During the press conference following Kaz’s speech at TGS, Sony dropped word that two PSP-3000 bundles would be hitting Japanese retail in December.
One of these is the Gran Turismo Racing Pack which includes a piano black PSP with the GT logo and “auto exhaust-inspired” titanium black buttons. Inside the bundle’s box are GT-styled accessories with the game on UMD.
The second bundle comes with Winning Eleven (Pro Evo 10), and Sony has yet to elaborate on what is included in it.

Rumour – PS3 GT5 bundle for December 4, other packs detailed

Our French is a little rough, so help us out here if you’re fluent.
Jeuxvideo’s posted details of several holiday PS3 bundles – including packs for Uncharted 2 and Assassins Creed II – apparently gleaned from a local retailer.
There’s a GT5 deal there, too. The bundle is a Slim plus the game for €339, releasing on December 4.
The full bundles are:
- PS3 Slim + Need for Speed: Shift (October 1): €339
- PS3 Slim + Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (October 14): €339
- PS3 Slim + Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (October 24): €339
- PS3 Slim + two unconfirmed Blu-ray movies (date and price tbc)

“Not long” until PES 2010 demo, says EU PES team leader
EU team leader for PES Jon Murphy has revealed to Videogamer that anybody waiting on a demo for PES 2010 is “not long” off.
“Not long to go now until we release a demo for everyone to test. You’ll get a chance to see the new PES for yourselves and make up your minds about how we’ve reflected what the what fans want,” said Murphy.

New PES 2010 screens released
Eurogamer’s put live brand new screenshots of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010. Get them through the link.
They also put live a hands on preview for the game: catch that here. PES creator, Seabass, is in Cologne to show the game for the very first time.
It’s out in the autumn for PS3, 360, Wii, PC PS2 and PSP.

Hideo Kojima confirmed for GAMESCom

Konami’s announced that its bringing over Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima, to GAMESCom. The Kojima Productions boss is gonna be at the event to show off Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP as well as demo Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for PS3 and 360 alongside developer, Mercury Stream.
Also coming is Team PES leader, Shingo Takatsuka, more commonly known as Seabass. He’ll be there to premiere Pro Evolution Soccer 2010.

Konami announces Pro Evo 2010 for Wii

Konami has finally confirmed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will indeed land on Wii come the fall.
New animations were added to the version, allowing players to find new ways to signal passes and the like, and producer Akiyoshi ‘Greyhound’ Chosogabe and his team have also worked to add key gameplay advances to this year’s version.
“The stakes have been raised and PES 2010 for Wii shows that Konami can still innovate and surprise,” commented Chosogabe.
“Our control system for Wii is still regarded as the finest and most intuitive around, and we have once again reworked it to add a level of control and realism that can appeal to new and old PES fans alike.”

True PES fan sought for marketing campaign

If you’re a proper PES-lover you may want to have a look at this. It’s a competition which could end up with you appearing in PES 2010 marketing next to cover stars Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres.
All you have to do is upload a video to that site saying why you love the game so much. Try to keep your cock in your pants, obviously.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 site has a lovely countdown

The website for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 has officially launched and includes a countdown.
We know how you love those.
The countdown ends in 3 days, which would be June 19. Guess that’s when the site will open to its full glory.
The game is slated for UK October 30 and the states for November 6 according to Play UK and GameStop respectively.
It’s to be made available for PC, PS2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360.

Konami: PES 2010 “will recreate real football as closely as the current hardware will allow”

Konami’s announced PES 2010, promising “major gameplay additions” and “the most realistic football simulation available”.
New gameplay, graphics, “atmosphere,” animations, moves and loads more are to be included, said the firm.
“We have been monitoring feedback and comments on the progression of the PES series for some time now, and PES 2010 will see us implementing a great deal of the ideas players have been requesting,” said producer Naoya Hatsumi.
“We aim to make PES 2010 a more user-friendly, immediate experience that places the emphasis on getting straight into the gameplay for which the series is famed. PES 2010 will look better, will play better, and will recreate real football as closely as the current hardware will allow.”
All the details after the link. It’s out for PS3, 360, PC, PSP and PS2 this autumn. Nothing has been mentioned of a Wii version.
