Minesweeper, Majong and Solitaire to be released under Microsoft’s ‘Xbox Windows’ label
Windows classics Minesweeper, Majong and Solitaire will be the first titles released under Microsoft’s ‘Xbox Windows’ label. Spotted by Xbox 360 Achievements, the titles will offer 50 Gamerscore points when released on Windows 8 in October. The games will also be offered via the Windows 8 Surface tablet. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Mojang has three new games in the works, two may release first half of 2012
Mojang CEO Carl Manneh has said three unannounced projects are in the works at the firm, two of which will possibly be announced or even released during the first half of 2012.

“Two more major features” to be implemented into Minecraft before November release
The full version of Minecraft will be released on November 18, and before that happens, “two more major features” will be added to the game, according to Notch. Mojang plans to have all content development finished by October 18, so that the time remaining can be focused on fixing any issues such as bugs and the like.
