Atelier releases in the west from here on out will contain dual-audio voice tracks, Tecmo Koei Europe has announced. Atelier Escha & Logy, which releases in Europe March 7 and March 11 for North America on PlayStation 3, was previously confirmed to contain the dual-track for both the retail and digital version of the game. So, from now on, all games in the series released in the west will contain both Japanese and English voice options. Great news. Thanks, Siliconera.

Gust has released a batch of screenshots and artwork for Chronos Materia, its new Vita exclusive RPG about girls wandering a post-civilisation landscape. From these assets we can glean that it involves leveling, items, and equipment, as well as environments and, I don’t know, some sort of clock thing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there are any battle screens in this release. Check them out below.

Atelierseries developer Gust has another new RPG on the way. Dengeki by way of Siliconera reports Chronos Materia is a Vita exclusive due in Japan on September 26, which tells the story of girls transported to a world in which human civilisation no longer exists. Sounds ideal.

Gust doesn’t plan on releasing a “Plus” Vita remake of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, according to Siliconera‘s translation of a video communique from the developer. Apparently Gust’s actual plans are a little hard to translate, but suggest something else may be in store for the title. Two Vita ports have graced the franchise so far: Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland – which released in the west earlier this month – and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland Plus – which has not yet been confirmed for western release.
