DOTA 2 composer Timothy Williams’ next work on a game seems to be out of the bag: God of War IV, according to his CV. Williams has it listed under upcoming projects. It comes as it was recently suggested that online co-op was likely for the still to be announced sequel at Sony Santa Monica. Siliconera has the deed caught on camera (or print-screened).

PSM3′s reporting that the unannounced God of War IV will feature an online co-op mode.

More God of War IV rumors are circulating thanks to a New Zealand retailer Mighty Ape posting a placeholder date of September 28, 2012 for the unannounced title. Gematsu notes that the logo in the listing was a fan creation found easily on the net. In late October, a Sony Santa Monica Studios job listing for a “Senior Staff Concept Artist” was posted for a project called “God of War”, making it the second such listing for the team this year. Earlier this year, UK mag PSM3 carried a rumour claiming the next God of War title will be releasing in 2012. As usual, we’ll send a mail, but as usual, take it with a grain of salt until Sony makes an official announcement.
