Sony Online Entertainment’s G.I.R.L. Scholarship returns for a sixth year, and the publisher is now taking applications.The program offers $10,000 for tuition and educational expenses to one female student in gaming-related disciplines, as well as a ten week internship in San Diego. Applications close March 29 and can be made here.

SOE probably picked the wrong day to open the call for applications for its G.I.R.L. scholarship, but there we are. If you’re an American woman enrolled in an Arts institute, then you could win $10,000 towards the cost of your education and a ten-week internship at SOE. If you’re not, you can’t.
