Dust: An Elysian Tail hit Steam over the weekend, and is on sale at 10% off during its launch period. It supports Steam Big Picture and Xbox controllers. The gorgeous platformer was previously exclusive to Xbox Live Arcade, where it became famous for taking approximately forever to actually release, eventually arriving as a Summer of Arcade title in 2012. It’s the product of a one-man indie, which only makes its hand-drawn art the more impressive.

Dust: An Elysian Tail will be released on Steam next week, according to developers Dean Dodrill and Alex Kain. The game has been available for Xbox Live for quite some time now, but come May 24, PC users will finally be able to play it. Hit up Steam for more information.

Dust: An Elysian Tail could be released on Steam as early as next month, according to developers Dean Dodrill and Alex Kain during their “Making of Dust” PAX East panel. The winning entry in 2009′s Dream.Build.Play competition, Dust: An Elysian Tail, will be playable at Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade booth at PAX East next weekend. The news was announced via the developer’s Twitter account. The game should be completed before the end of the first half of 2012, and more updates on the title are to be revealed in the months leading up to release on XBLA.
