LucasArts has a number of unannounced Star Wars titles in development

LucasArts not only revealed the downloadable title Lucidity to GameTrailersTV recently, but while he was chatting about it, president Darrell Rodriguez said that a number of unannounced Star Wars titles are currently in development.
He was not talking about The Old Republic MMO either.
What was worth noting about his conversation, was the mention of meetings with Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Ron Gilbert and Larry Holland, stating: “Wouldn’t it be great to work with them on some new things?”
Interesting.

Star Wars: The Old Republic – The entire reveal presentation in video
LucasArts passed over a video edit of the entire reveal presentation of BioWare MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic today, held in San Francisco last week. Watch it after the break.
The movie is nearly 20 minutes long, and contains large sections of talk from BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, as well as talk-throughs on art style and level design from senior developers at the studio.
There are several sections in there from LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez.
And no: there’s no footage of gameplay. Two trailers were shown at the event – one on the history of the KOTOR franchise, and one showing early gameplay – but both have been edited out. Apparently there’s a movie exclusive deal in place with a US broadcaster, so no such luck for you, we’re afraid.
We were there, if you recall, so you’ll just have to trust us when we say it did look awesome. Read our live blog of the event to see what happened.
Watch the video, innit.

“Electric” EA LA boss replaces Ward at LucasArts
EA LA COO Darrell Rodriguez has been named as Jim Ward’s replacement as the head of LucasArts.
“Having worked at both Electronic Arts and Disney Imagineering he brings the perfect blend of production, operational, and creative expertise,” Lucasfilm president Micheline Chau said in a statement. “For a games company such as LucasArts with its roots in film, this is an electric combination.”
Ward left earlier this year, citing “personal reasons” for the departure.
