Rare’s just confirmed it’s got new offices in Birmingham, coming after rumour suggested the developer was to move its entire operation away from Twycross.

A story claiming Rare’s to move from Twycross to Birmingham is wrong, Microsoft’s confirmed to VG247.

“Rare have got no plans to move from their Twycross studio,” a rep told us on the phone, adding that the story is “incorrect”.

Talk of the UK outfit moving north originated in The Birmingham Post, which claimed the studio will move into the re-developed Fazeley Studios in the city’s former industrial centre.

So there we are.
