3D Realms titles added to GOG.com
GOG.com has announced the addition of a number of 3D Realms classics. Shooters Terminal Velocity and Shadow Warrior, plus its expansion packs, are both available now for $6, and the digital distribution service promises more games from the 90′s favourite developer will be announced soon. 3D Realms, or Apogee Software, was also behind Duke Nukem, Rise of the Triad, Crystal Caves, Bio Menace and much more.

Original Rise of the Triad 60% off on GOG
In preparation for the Rise of the Triad remake coming from Interceptor Entertainment, gog.com is offering the original 1994 game at 60 percent off, that’s $2.39. Bonus content includes the soundtrack and seven additional levels.
A video and screens of the new version were released not too long ago, the game is expected later this year on PC.

Apogee Software’s return brings Duke Nukem trilogy to DS and PSP
Apogee Software just confirmed its return to the scene by announcing the full Duke Nukem Trilogy for DS and PSP.
“Apogee Software is producing the Trilogy under an exclusive license agreement with 3D Realms and MachineWorks Northwest LLC. The Trilogy is comprised of three episodes: Critical Mass, Chain Reaction, and Proving Grounds.
“This marks a new beginning for a famous publisher with a history of market-making innovation,” said Apogee boss Terry Nagy. “I can’t think of a better character than Duke or a better franchise than the Trilogy to usher in a new era for Apogee.”
