If you go to the trouble of linking your Ubisoft.com account to your Xbox Live or PSN account, you’ll receive the bonus of an Altair skin in Prince of Persia, Ubi said today.

“Prince of Persia is an incredible experience. We’re thrilled to give our loyal fans another way to journey through it,” said producer Ben Mattes.

“This exclusive reward is a ‘thank you’ to our fans, who can easily unlock it when they link their Ubisoft.com accounts to their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 gamer identities.”

Speaking with Ausgamers, Prince of Persia animation director David Wilkinson said that Alex Drouin – the animation man for PoP and Assassins Creed – was currently “getting Altair to swim.”

“He’s busy making Altair even more beautiful,” said Wilkinson. “Last thing I saw him do was getting Altair to swim.”

So. Assassins Creed 2, then. Who could’ve guessed that was coming?
